Lynn Tomkins


Lynn is a highly experienced operator in the skills environment with over 25 years experience. Previously Lynn was operations director for Semta the Sector Skills Council for science, engineering and advanced manufacturing.

Jacqui Henderson CBE

Board Member

Jacqui is a successful business woman who has worked at Board level in the public and private sector both nationally and regionally for more than twenty years.

Paul Robertson

Board Member

Paul Robertson has more than 30 years’ experience in all aspects of the media. Until July 2011 he was the award-winning editor of the Evening Chronicle in Newcastle – a position he held for nearly 10 years. He was also the editorial director for Trinity Mirror North East.

Ruby El-Kanzi

Board Member

Ruby is a self-motivated and passionate individual Chartered Architect, with a strong design management background and extensive projects experience covers the full range of skills from leadership, detail design to project delivery, stakeholder management and design innovation at many scales of the project.

Mickey Paul

Strategic Advisory Board Member

Mickey has over 30 years’ experience in financial and project management. He brings his passion for social justice, diversity and inclusion, and a male perspective to our Strategic Advisory Board.

Michelle Henderson

Operations Director

Michelle has had a long and successful career working in the skills and education arena, operating specifically within the advanced manufacturing, engineering and science sectors.

Elizabeth Bonfield

Executive Coach and Trainer

Elizabeth has worked at director level in the engineering, manufacturing and construction sectors for the past 20 years. As Managing Director of 3 Vocational Awarding Bodies she spent 10 years creating opportunities for individuals and businesses in training and qualifications.

Michelle Lewis

Executive Coach and Trainer

As one of the first alumni of the Skills 4 Career Development Programme, Michelle is an accomplished senior manager, having reached executive level within a global engineering company. She has extensive experience of developing and leading people both domestically and internationally to ensure cross-cultural delivery across a number of EU and Non-EU countries.

Kaemorine Prendergast

Executive Coach and Trainer

As a Business psychologist and executive coach, Kaemorine has extensive experience of working in both the public and private sector as well as cross culturally within the UK and Middle East. Over the past nine years she has supported senior level executives and global organisations to maximise their performance, through skilful delivery of coaching, training; leadership and high potential assessment and development. Recently she has been specifically working with professional BME women, coaching them to develop their authenticity, self-belief and overcome impostor syndrome.

Annie Argile

Business Development Manager

Since leaving University with a Degree in Graphic Design, Annie has worked in the Creative Media Sector as a Designer.  Annie joined Skills 4 in February 2019 as the Office and Brand Manager, bringing a wealth of experience to the role. Annie is responsible for engaging clients through social media platforms and identifying areas where we can potentially attract new clients through marketing and social media channels increasing our brand awareness and engagement.

Deborah Ellison

Office Administrator

Deborah’s career began in hospitality after completing her degree in Tourism Management.  On relocating to West Yorkshire, Deborah transferred her skills and wealth of customer service knowledge from this sector and moved into a Senior Account Management role.  She worked for almost a decade for a Fleet Provider managing key accounts. Deborah joined Skills 4 in August 2020 to work within our Client Engagement Team.
