To mark International Women’s Day 2026, and in the spirit of this year’s theme Give to Gain, we delivered a series of events designed to equip people across the construction and engineering industry with the tools to grow their careers, and support others along the way.
Four events. 900 people. One shared commitment to growth, connection, and impact.

Each session focused on a different aspect of career and personal development. We kicked off with an important and open conversation on peri/menopause – creating space for greater awareness and support in the workplace. This was followed by energising sessions focused on building and boosting the career you want, with practical insights to help people take their next steps with confidence.
We’re incredibly grateful to our partners VolkerFitzpatrick, Arcadis Global, and National Highways, for making these events possible.
A special thank you to our alumni community. Over 100 of you joined our Everyday Mentoring session, showing the power of giving back. Together, we explored how small, consistent actions can make a meaningful difference – supporting colleagues and shaping more inclusive workplaces.

This year’s theme reminded us of something simple but powerful: when we invest in others, we all grow. And it’s through that shared commitment that we continue to build stronger, more supportive networks across our sector.

Watch this space for the launch of our new Menopause and Mentoring programmes, coming soon!
