WeConnect International Women Owned

Women Owned is an initiative from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WEConnect International to create a movement of support for Women Owned businesses. The WEConnect International Seal of Certification is open across 50 countries.

WEConnect Certification is only possible for businesses which are 51% or more owned by women; Skills 4 is 100% Female Founded and Female Owned.

We have been certified to meet the following four criteria:

  • Ownership (minimum 51%)
  • Management (by one or more women)
  • Control (by one or more women)
  • Independence

4 reasons why working with and supporting Women Owned businesses benefits you:

  1. Invest in women’s economic empowerment, vibrant communities, gender parity in commerce and the growth of the economy overall. Buying Women Owned is economically sound and socially conscious.
  1. Compliance against diversity and inclusion across supply chains.
  1. Embrace diversity through working with Women Owned businesses, as creativity flourishes when diverse points of view are considered. Both Forbes and McKinsey have demonstrated that diverse teams are 33% more likely to achieve above average profit.
  1. Enhance your competitive advantage by showing your commitment to working in diverse markets and supporting supplier diversity.
