It showed that with the right level of investment and support, women can excel at anything. And crucially, if women and girls can envision themselves in a role, it breeds encouragement and thus opportunities. It’s the old adage of ‘if you can see it, you can be it’.
Promisingly, a new UK Female FTSE Board report has found that FTSE 350 companies have continued to meet and exceed the target of 33 per cent of women on boards. However, it adds that there are still too few women in senior leadership positions.”
